IT Support Associate Intern

The program features a fixed-term, full-time role based in Muscat, spanning six months, with a competitive monthly stipend of 500 OMR. As an IT Support Intern, you will deliver first-level technical assistance for hardware, software, and network-related challenges, while contributing to system installations, configurations, and maintenance. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting IT issues, managing user accounts and permissions, tracking IT inventory, and supporting documentation updates. Additionally, you will collaborate on daily operational tasks, assist with ongoing projects, and participate in system testing and updates.
Candidates should possess foundational technical knowledge, including proficiency in computer hardware and software, familiarity with Windows 10/11, and basic competence in Microsoft Office 365 applications. A fundamental grasp of networking principles—such as IP addressing, LAN, and Wi-Fi—along with basic IT troubleshooting abilities is essential. Prior exposure to helpdesk or ticketing systems will be considered advantageous. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong learning agility, excellent English communication skills, a proactive problem-solving approach, and meticulous attention to detail.
